If your unfamilar with Japanese rope bondage and are searching for information from Japanese sites, the search term "kinbaku" can sometimes be more useful than "shibari" (tying) or "nawa" (rope). As you undoubtedly know, hojojutsu is the martial application of rope on prisoners.

Fri, July 6, 2007 - 11:18 AMSirC's class was wonderful I have a book and a couple videos from the 80's but it was a real treat to see it done in the flesh and try it out for myself.
I've been making some silk 3mm rope with a nice tight twist and loop so I can keep a bundle in my kimono sleeves at all times.
