  But there is quite a contingent of SF Bay area people going to this year's Shibaricon in Chicago.
  I will be vending my silk ropes, Mike West is teaching and several other local people are going as registrants. Hope to see you there and maybe we can talk about possibilities.

    Shibaricon has only been going for a few years, but it's held in Chicago every time, it doesn't float. I only know of one kink conference that floats the location, the rest are stable national/regional conferences.

    Being an ex-Chicagoan transplant in San Francisco, Not only do I go to work this event, but this year I will be presenting as well.

  Everybody's favorite 800lb gorilla, Kink.com, bought the rights to "bondcon" (see bondcon.com,) a rather cheezy con that was held in NYC and then Vegas back in the early 2000s. (Not to be confused with boUndcon in Germany, which is sort of the Mother of all Fetish Cons.) At one point Peter told me he was interested in having a west cost bondage convention in SF, but last time I asked, I heard it was on hold.
